Remove Sponsored Ads from Opera Mini Browser in Mobile Phones
1. Open Opera Mini browser and tap on Opera Main Menu icon shown at the bottom-right corner in Opera toolbar.
2. Now tap on Settings (cog-wheel) icon shown in the top toolbar in the menubar.
3. It'll open Opera Settings page. Tap on Start page content option.
4. Set the toggle button given next to News to OFF. In other words, disable News option.
5. Now go back to Settings page, scroll down and tap on Notifications option.
6. Set the toggle button given next to Opera notifications to OFF. In other words, disable Opera notifications option.
7. Now go back to Settings page, scroll down and tap on Advanced option.
8. Now set Usage statistics and Personalised ads options to Disabled.
Now check Opera Mini homepage or speed dial page and you'll get a clutter-free page without unwanted news, sponsored ads, promotions, etc.
If you want, you can delete existing speed dial shortcuts as well. Tap and hold on a shortcut and drag the shortcut over Remove option given at the top. Repeat same process for all existing speed dial shortcuts and you'll get a blank empty page as your homepage in Opera Mini browser.
